How the Program Works

This blended program combines online coursework with hands-on and guided learning experiences. You will complete:

  • Online coursework

  • Mentoring support

  • Clinical experience

  • Individual and group knowledge reinforcement sessions

The program typically takes 3–4 months to complete, depending on your pace through the online didactic portion.

The ultimate goal of the program is to prepare you to successfully pass the WTA-C certification exam through WOCNCB, the gold standard in wound care certification. Because WOCNCB maintains more rigorous standards than other wound certifications, this credential carries greater professional recognition and respect.
